Yellow black Mottahedeh design transferware plate from Italy

Description

Mottahedeh is a recognized leader in luxury ceramic antique reproductions and historic designs.
This is a complex decorative plate, an 18th Century scene of men, women. There are 4 figures in the foreground and two off to the left in the background.
The square plate has lovely details at the corners, making this an unusual plate, very suitable for hanging!
Two separate black borders, of vines and grapes, surround the circular image. The contrast of the black on the canary yellow ground is very striking.
Like many Mottahedeh pieces, there is a very shiny glaze that draws your eye to the plate and accents the detailed images.
The back of the plate is stamped with a circular Mottahedeh design, Italy S. 5032.
The decorative plate measures slightly over 8 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches.

 Very good vintage condition.
