Vista Alegra for Mottahedeh Lowestoft Rose porcelain coffee pot, sugar, creamer

Description

This three-piece coffee set was made by Vista Alegra for Mottahedeh. The pieces have been finished in the heavily gilded Lowestoft Rose pattern, which features a chinoiserie motif consisting of floral decoration executed in shades of red, pink and purple with green and teal foliage. The pattern also incorporates a variety of elaborate tapestries and detailed insects.
The set includes a coffee pot with lid, double handled sugar bowl with lid, and unlidded creamer with handle.
The coffee pot measures 9" tall and 8.25" wide. The sugar bowl is 4.25" tall and 6.125" as measured from the outside edges of its handles. The cream jug stands 3.25" tall and 5.5" from the back edge of its handle to the front of the spout.
A striking and hard to find set in excellent condition.
