    Vintage Mottahedeh small casserole / covered compote with shell handles
    With eagle holding a ribbon in its mouth
    Also decorated with blue flowers, accented with gold/gilt
    Measures 7 1/2" across x 5 1/4" high
    No chips, cracks or crazing, some minor gilt wear on handles
    This is a heavy ceramic, not porcelain
    MOTTAHEDEH incised on bottom; either a very early pattern or knockoff
