    Description

    ANTIQUE MEDICAL BLOOD LETTING SCARIFICATOR STANDS ABOUT 2 1/2" HIGH, 1 1/2" X 1 7/8" AT BASE. SPRING LOADED WITH 12 BLADES. MARKED ON COCKING LEVER "RICARD" WITH TWO SMALL SYMBOLS ON ONE SIDE (SEE PICS) NO OTHER VISIBLE MARKINGS. SOME MINOR FINISH WEAR, VERY STRONG BLADE SPRING, GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
    Blade depth can be adjusted with knob on top.  The blade is cocked with the top lever.  When you see the blades - it is half cocked.  Pull further and the blades will disappear.  When the button on the side is pushed the blades will slice so fast  they can't be seen.  Be careful using this instrument!
