1980 Animals set of 14 (#161-74), two progressive COMPOSITE MASTER PROOF SHEETS,
one with the six small format low denominations,
the other with the eight large format high denominations,
the sheets are unusual and interesting in that all color bars (of the four color process) appear at top, yet not all are present in the proofs, which appear to show the blue & yellow portions only,
except
for the 10c Spring Hare, which is in FULL ISSUED COLORS. Interestingly, that value shows a "lump" on the hare's foreleg which necessitated reproofing (photocopy of printer's comments included), and the sheets may have been run primarily for the purpose of showing this defect, with the red & black blocked on all other values
only two such sets believed to exist,
