    Description

    Mottahedeh introduced the exquisite Tobacco Leaf pattern in 1985. It was designed in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum of Art based on 18th century examples in their collection. The Chinoiserie motifs are common on Chinese export pieces from that period. It is a very vibrant pattern. The pattern is highlighted with gold accents. The strap handles are crisscrossed and have striated and daubed gold highlights as shown. The sugar is 4 1/2” tall to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. It is fully marked as shown. We combine shipping and only charge what it costs us to ship.
