Rare Vicarelli craniotomy perforator -
Giuseppe Vicarelli was director of the Clinic of Obstetrics in Turin from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
He has published numerous books and created and perfected obstetrics tools such as this abortive perforator.
Signed "Baldinelli", an ancient manufacturer of surgical instruments active in Italy until the end of the 1800s , this nickel-plated steel instrument shows oxidation and signs of aging.
