Rare Mottahedeh Design Grand Tour Lidded 10" Tureen With Raised Platter Italy
This listing features a Vintage and extremely rarer large Mottahedeh Design Grand Tour Lidded Tureen With Raised Platter. Yellow and White with Black Bands, Black and White Castle and Cathedral Scenes, Schonbrunn Vienne Scene on Bottom Platter. Made in Italy. All in excellent condition with the following minor issued. The underplate has 3 chips on platter rim (one chip is approx. 3/8") that have been colored in (now well done). The tureen has one non-structural hairline on the lid (1 1/2") and one non-structural hairline on the side 1" down from rim.) These are hardly noticeable though. Tureen measures approximately 11" to top of finial, 12" handle to handle; raised platter measures approximately 12" X 2".
