Description
Hello dear customers, for sale rare Civil war era surgeon's double side bullet probe instrument used to locate bullet in body during surgery. Made of soft white metal alloy low content silver, with two different graduation measuring scales on sides and finger holder plate in the middle. Untouched as is found condition with Wonderfull patina - very appealing completed with no issue or cracks. Purchased during the 1960 from my family from the old Antietam Museum it was locate no the Main Pike from Frederick MD. This museum was closed and all content sold. This Great bullet prob was on surgical table in the field hospital display. It was recovered after the battle. Great metal alloy surgical instrument display.Measures: 5.10'' long.
