    Description

    Mottahedeh introduced the exquisite Tobacco Leaf pattern in 1985. It was designed in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum of Art based on 18th century examples in their collection. The Chinoiserie motifs are common on Chinese export pieces from that period. It is a very vibrant pattern. The pattern is highlighted with gold accents. The cup is 2 1/2” tall. The design circles the cup as shown. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. It is fully marked as shown.
