Mottahedeh Soup Tureen Lowestoft Reproduction Gold with Eagle Design

This is an absolutely gorgeous SOUP TUREEN AND UNDER PLATE made by Mottahedeh.   Mottahedeh is a recognized leader in luxury antique porcelain reproductions.   They have developed products for many museums and have been commissioned by the President, State Department and many other diplomats.  Mottahedeh products are primarily manufactured in Europe.  This fantastic set is a reproduction of a Lowestoft Porcelain Factory SOUP TUREEN.  Lowestoft was active from 1757 to 1802.  I believe this set was manufactured from 1950 to 1960.  The SOUP TUREEN are a very light blue and have an eagle design on the front and back and is surrounded with a cobalt blue and gold trim.  The cobalt and gold design are used on the entire piece.  But what really stands out is the gold handles and finial.   There is some gilt PERFECT around the eagle designs, on the handles and one finial.  I have tried to capture this in the pictures but can email more upon request.  There are no chips.  SOUP TUREEN  is hallmarked as shown in the pictures.  These make a statement standing 14 inches and about 16 inches wide and 9 inches deep.  SOUP TUREEN weighs 8 pounds.  would make a beautiful display and one I am sure you will treasure!
