Description
This very early set of forceps is unmarked and ca.1850. Extremely fine workmanship in manufacturing. The two sides are held together with a very fine thumbscrew that permits disassembly with a quarter turn of the screw. Overall length is 5.7". The tips have extremely fine grooves for the last .13" of each tip. For those interested in the fine details, the tip serration grooves are only .015" apart (1/64") - 8 grooves in 1/8". Absolutely excellent patina.
