    Description

    A beautiful, true vintage necklace dating to the 1920s/30s. Original art deco period piece.
    A graduated and heavy necklace, it is extra long at 36". Every bead tests as cherry amber Bakelite (using Simichrome). The beads have a beautiful rich glow and have the characteristic Bakelite "clack." The necklace has the old style barrel clasp with a screw component.
    Still strung on the original thread, it has loosened with time and could use restringing. Otherwise, in excellent condition for being an antique.
