This item is a hand-crocheted kippah. These kippot have been made by a member of the Abayudaya, the Jews of Uganda.
This style of kippah is worn by male members of the Abayudaya communities.
The design consists of a Mogen David (Star of David) on the top, and a Menorah design around the sides.
The kippot are immaculately crocheted of 100% wool.
They are available in several colors, with the Mogen David and Menorah designs in cream (unless otherwise specified in the description).
They make wonderful gifts, and are especially appreciated by people who enjoy wearing a unique kippah. They are snug-fitting, so they are also appreciated by people who have difficulty keeping a kippah on their head!
Each kippah comes with a descriptive insert, explaining a little bit about the Abayudaya.

A note regarding size and design:
The kippot are not a specific size, and in fact there are occasionally slight variations in size from one to the next. However, due to the fact that they are crocheted, there is enough "give" that most people will not have problems with fit. However, if the recipient has a particularly large or small hat size, please contact us after you've made your purchase, and we'll do our best to select a kippah that might be more suitable.
There may be slight variations in design from one kippah to the next; however, all of the kippot (other than the solid-colored ones) will have the Mogen David (Star of David) on the top, and the Menorah design around the side of the kippah.
