    Found this piece in a 1700's house this civil war era medical devise that would have had a strap to tighten around the leg. Signed Schively Philad. in researching this Schively may have had some of the earliest patents on this devise going back into the 1830's , found two fine tools which may have been part of the original medical pieces carried by the doctors . Not an expert on this piece so ask any questions needed.
