Antique Brass Bleeder Mechanical Spring Loaded Fleam Blood Medicine & Case Box

Description

This vintage bleeder measures about 3 1/4" long. The original wood box is 3 7/8" X 2 1/8" X 1 1/2". The bleeder has been used. it has a strong spring that takes some effort to cock but the mechanism works fine. It's in nice condition with a little wear and no chips on the blade. The wood box is nice too with a little wear. It has the original piece of leather attached to the back and overlapping part of the top (this acts as the connecting hinge to the box). There's a felt lining inside the box which shows some wear. A great, early medical tool.
