Each medallion features a piece of art from the hand of Michelangelo, and each is in itself a miniature masterpiece of the engraver's art translated from the original into a silver art. Original works include many from the Sistine Chapel, the Last Judgment and other paintings and drawings, sculpture’s based on classical themes, sculptures of famous people, sculptures of Christ and the Madonna, mainly from Italy, but including one from the Notre Dame Church in Bruges Belgium.
Full Set of 60 In Album with 38 pamphlets describing the artwork depicted on coins. 1 coin is wrapped in paper shown in photo # 11.
