Description

Rare Very Good Zamora "local coinage" 1/8 real or octavo real coin.
Obverse: eagle with snake sitting on cactus, ZAMORA 1848.
Reverse: Figure of liberty, UN OCTAVO.
High grade for this crude issue.
Appears to have a flan flaw reverse to the left of Liberty (coin is not deformed or bent).
